There are two services you'll need for a working website - a domain plus a website hosting plan for it. When you type the domain in your Internet browser, you see the content that is uploaded in the website hosting account, but if that domain address is not linked to such an account or to an e-mail service, it's parked. To put it differently, the Internet domain is registered and you're its owner, but it does not have any content of its own. As a substitute, it can open either a pre-made “Under Construction / For Sale” Internet page from the registrar company, or it can be forwarded to any other URL of your choice. The main advantage of parking a domain name is that you can keep it and make certain that nobody else will take it. In the meantime, it won't occupy a slot for a hosted domain inside your account. You could also park domains if you have a .com, for instance, and you register domain names with other extensions such as .net, .org or country-code ones to direct them to the main web site so as to protect a brand name.
Parked Domains in Semi-dedicated Hosting
Using our Linux semi-dedicated service you're going to be able to park an unrestricted amount of the domain addresses that you've registered through our company at no extra cost. We provide several parking templates to select from plus the option to submit your own text to each of them. If you'd prefer to redirect your domain name, it takes as little as a few mouse clicks to do it. We have a feature-rich Domain Manager tool that you can access from your Hepsia hosting CP and it will permit you to park and un-park domains with ease or filter all registered domains by their status and see just the parked or only the hosted ones. Un-parking a domain name takes only a click and you will not have to do anything manually after that, because our system is going to automatically set up all the required records, modify the domain servers and set up a domain folder inside the File Manager section.
