A catch-all email mailbox receives email messages sent to nonexistent email addresses under the very same domain. For instance, an email sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. Thus, you can get email messages from buddies or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an old one, which they may still have, but you have already deleted. Just one single mailbox per domain can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be activated for such a mailbox. This is due to the fact that at a certain point you may begin receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding limitation implies that the spam will not be sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to configure a catch-all mailbox without any difficulty in case you’ve got a cloud hosting account with our company. The Email Manager in our custom-developed Hepsia Control Panel is feature-loaded, yet surprisingly user-friendly, and it will allow you to activate different options, including the catch-all one, with just a few clicks of the mouse. All the mailboxes that you have will be displayed in alphabetical order in this section and to the right of each one of them you’ll notice a mini "Catch-all" logo. Clicking on it once will activate the feature, clicking it again will disable it. Since you can have just one such mailbox per domain, our system will inform you if you already have a different one with this option enabled or if you’ve got enabled email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Hosting

The catch-all feature can be enabled effortlessly in case you have a semi-dedicated server plan with our company. All the email addresses that you’ve created with the domain names hosted in your account will be shown in the Email Manager section of your Hepsia Control Panel and you will see a small logo conveniently situated directly next to each one. With only one click, you can activate or deactivate the catch-all option for any mailbox of your choosing on the condition that there isn't another mailbox under the same domain with this option already enabled and there isn't activated email forwarding. Alternatively, you can right-click on an email address and enable this feature using the menu that will come into sight. If any of the requirements for creating a catch-all mailbox is not satisfied, our system will inform you, but will not deactivate or replace anything automatically.
